English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
That is because they hate what Allah has revealed; so He has made their works futile.

یہ اس وجہ سے تھا کہ جو کچھ اللہ نے اتارا انہوں نے اسے ناپسند کیا۔ پس اُس نے ان کے اعمال ضائع کردئیے۔

C’est parce qu’ils détestent ce qu’Allāh a révélé ; ainsi a-t-Il rendu vaines leurs œuvres.

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
کیونکہ انہوں نے اللہ کے اتارے ہوئے (کلام) کو ناپسند کیا ہے سو خدا نے بھی ان کے اعمال کو ضائع کر دیا۔
English - Short Commentary Translation
That is because they hate what Allah has revealed; so He has made their works vain.

That is because they hate what Allah has revealed; so He has made their works futile.[3795]
Commentary:
Three times in the few verses that have gone before is it stated that "God has made the works of disbelievers vain." This signifies that disbelievers had bent all their energies of mind and body, to the achievement of one supreme desire—to see Islam fail and come to naught. But Islam triumphed. It progressed and prospered and the disbelievers failed to have their desire fulfilled.

کیونکہ انہوں نے اُس چیز کو ناپسند کیا جسے اللہ نے نازل کیا ہے، لہٰذا اللہ نے اُن کے اعمال ضائع کر دیے

یہ اس لئے ہوگا کہ جس بات کو اللہ نے ناپسند کیا وہ اس کے پیچھے چل پڑے اور خدا کی رضا (کی جستجو) کو ناپسند کیا سو خدا نے بھی ان کے اعمال ضائع کر دئیے۔
